Loving called as 'Vaigai Puyal', Vadivelu, who was last seen on the big screen in 2017 in the 'Thalapathy' Vijay blockbuster Mersal, was queried during the press conference on the status of Imsai Arasan 24am Pulikesi, which was launched in August 2017 under director Shankar's S Pictures banner with Chimbu Deven announced to direct the film.
The hit director also confirmed that the film will also have a leading actress, but will not be paired opposite Vadivelu. The upcoming project, which will be their fourth collaboration after Thalai Nagaram (2006), Marudhamalai (2007) and Kaththi Sandai (2016), will see the comedian sharing screen space with a dog in Naai Sekar, Suraj said at the press conference on Friday. Tamil comedy superstar Vadivelu announced his return to films once again and will be teaming with director Suraj for a venture titled Naai Sekar to be produced by Lyca Productions.
